Navigation Buoys in Sohar region

Consolidated Union Contracting (CUC) successfully completed a navigation buoy installation project in Sohar, Sultanate of Oman, supporting marine safety and environmental protection.

The project involved the supply and installation of advanced navigation buoys to safeguard an underwater mountain that serves as a breeding habitat for marine life.

The Scope of Work:

Supply and installation of Sealite Poseidon 1750 navigation buoys
Integration of Sealite SLC420 lanterns with GSM monitoring systems
Design and installation of complete mooring systems, including concrete anchor blocks and chains
Deployment and positioning of buoys for effective hazard marking and protection

CUC utilized a purpose-built pontoon, enabling efficient, safe, and cost-effective installation. The project highlights CUC’s capability in delivering marine solutions that combine navigational safety with environmental conservation.
