Seawater Intake and Outfall for Crude Oil Park

Consolidated Union Contracting (CUC) successfully completed the commissioning of a subsea intake and outfall pipeline system, demonstrating strong capabilities in marine construction, dredging, and HDPE pipeline installation.

The project involved a comprehensive scope of work, ensuring seamless execution from supply to final commissioning in challenging marine and onshore conditions.

The scope of Work:

Supply of concrete ballast blocks, diffuser protection, and rock materials for backfilling
Butt fusion welding of 1.8 km (OD900mm) and 0.8 km (OD250mm) HDPE pipelines
Offshore dredging and onshore excavation works
Installation of offshore and onshore pipelines, including ballast blocks and connections
Installation of diffusers, intake screens, and auxiliary pipelines
Backfilling of trenches as per approved specifications
Testing and commissioning of the complete system
