Seawater Intake System at Duqm Desalination Plant

Consolidated Union Contracting (CUC) successfully delivered a complete seawater intake system in Duqm, showcasing its expertise in HDPE pipeline solutions for marine infrastructure.

The project covered the full scope from design to commissioning, ensuring a reliable and efficient intake system for long-term operation in a demanding marine environment.

The Scope of Work:

Design, manufacture, testing, supply, installation, and commissioning of the seawater intake system
Installation of 3.9 km of 710mm HDPE pipelines for main intake lines
Installation of 7.8 km of 75mm HDPE pipelines for chlorine and airburst systems
Execution of offshore pipeline installation and associated marine works
